Manchester newcomers Secret Night Gang team up with Zed Bias, Cosmodelica and Ron Basejam for their Captured Remixes EP, out on Brownswood Recordings.

Since being hand-picked by Brownswood founder Gilles Peterson, the band have gone from strength to strength, recently headlining London’s Jazz Cafe, as well as playing at Manchester International Festival, and receiving support from Sherelle (BBC 6 Music), BBC Introducing Manchester, Colin Curtis and Colleen Murphy, LeFtO (Worldwide FM), Jazz FM and Bandcamp Weekly for their uplifting, old-school funk tinged jazz. ‘Captured’ is their most euphoric track to date, a disco-fuelled celebration of love that has already proved a hit on newly reopened dancefloors.

Ron Basejam puts his own deep-house spin on proceedings, with a mellow extended mix that has a distinctly balearic vibe. Zed Bias turns things up a notch, transforming Captured into a UK Garage banger. Cosmodelica’s mix takes the disco elements of the original track and turns them all the way up.

All remixes will be available on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms from 24 September.
