‘Captured’ exudes the feel-good, boogie down energy of a band originating from the raw essence of live jam sessions, an element that is quintessentially Secret Night Gang. The track celebrates the spirit of love, the euphoria of being captured in the arms of a lover. Good vibes only on this dancefloor, evoking Cheryl Lynn-like vocals with Chic-esque bass. Conceived by co-bandleader Kemani Anderson’s deep musings in 70s Disco & Funk, composed with a collaborative spirit, additional rhodes, synths and percussion, arranged with meticulous musicianship.
